DISCOUNT
Prices quoted have not been inflated in order to offer discounts. However, we do recognise that there are costs in distribution and are therefore happy to offer a 5% discount subsidy to customers wanting to visit our premises, pay cash, select and collect their own (stock) items.

DELIVERY
We maintain a fleet of modern delivery vehicles of all sizes. Once your order is received and confirmed we will make telephone contact to arrange a convenient free of charge delivery. (UK mainland only).

CREDIT
We have assured our bank that we will not get involved in financial services as long as they don't make pine. So sorry, every transaction is Cash with Order or Cash on Delivery.

PAYMENT
We accept: Cash Cheques Plastic Capital Bonds Bank Transfers etc. etc. But have stringent checks in place to ensure all methods of payment will clear. Cheques for example are held between finger and thumb and dropped to the floor in order to detect any bounce.

EXPORT
Due to obvious economies of scale we are happy to give a 10% discount and free packing service to trade customers purchasing a full 40-foot container. 5% will be given to purchases of full 20-foot containers. We will need a current and correct V.A.T number for European Customers in order to zero rate our Sales Invoice.

MARKET POSITION
A top end product at a medium price - stockists often ask how can you do it for that price?

TIMBER
Keenpine is hand made from reclaimed pine. This is timber rescued mainly from old buildings, which is not only very environmentally friendly but also adds to the character of each piece. This wood wears the scars of it's past with pride so you will be able to identify old nail holes, etc.

CHARACTER
Timber is a natural resource and as such will adapt to its environment. Humidity is the main issue and in a hot dry home cracks can occur which merely compliment the piece and add to it's aged character. It is often mentioned by customers that if their child were to ride a bike into a piece of this pine and bruise a panel this would also add to the character. Could this be the first childproof furniture?

FINISH
Each piece is hand sanded three times with progressively finer grades of sandpaper until soft and smooth to the touch. Finally, again by hand, Stripped Pine Wax Polish is applied to every surface before the last exterior coat is buffed by brush and cloth to a pleasant mellow semi shine.

BRAND
Keenpine is fast becoming a strong brand in the pine trade which inspires confidence in our customers and is believed responsible for the impressive sales growth rates.

APPEAL
Customers tend to be better informed more discerning (Connoisseurs may not be too strong a description) and conscious of the fact they are investing in their environment for the foreseeable future and not following short term fashions.

STOCKISTS
At present there are some areas still available but once we supply a retailer we become very protective as competition (price war) only eventually denigrates the product. Once commitment to stock a range of our products is realised we will not supply any other shop in the same area with the same range.

COPYING
We are members of ACID which stands for Anti Copying In Design. They assure us that they have a team of super lawyers just waiting to pounce on any person or group silly enough to copy our designs. They also patrol most shows and exhibitions looking for evidence and operate internationally.
